News of Kiri & Lord 2008

6th of October: During the past years there were in September and October always problems with the homecoming and the overnight stay outside. Also last year, as a Kiri already alone has flown. This year behaves Kiri extremely differently.

She comes back since one month already in the morning home and wanted almost during 1 week, not at all outward. Moreover, she flies not far away and is prevailing within sight. I have also used this to build up some trust with her and the dog.

10th of November: Now we are already in the middle of the autumn. The weather is not to our degrees of latitude not especially pleasantly for us people, and already at all for parrots. Kiri already takes part for over one week, with me and the dog together, the morning in walk, and afterwards comes immediately with to the house, or wants short time later also in.

There few possibilities remain for video recordings. I have tried sometimes to catch par autumnal impressions with the camera. Nice is to be heard and it to be seen how Kiri imitates the crows in the windowsill and how she is angry at a broomstick.

23rd of November: Today we have the first closed snowy cover in this winter. Kiri must still get used to the new situation and is very careful in the first contact with the snow. The conversion is especially unusual for them because we hardly had snow in last both winters with ourselves. She has liked the walk but still and she has only still flown par rounds, before she wanted again in.
