News of Kiri & Lord 2010

3rd of January: Today I have used the nice winter weather, for a walk with Kiri. As one can see on the videos, she has liked it and she has observed the surroundings with interest.

12th of January: Today for over one week, Kiri has been for the first time again outdoors. As soon as we came out, she has flown in the fir and came down as us to the walk went off, immediately again to us. Then we have gone to the river which has frozen over, in the meantime. Then on the way home Kiri has flown ahead and has waited on the garden door already for us.

3rd of February: During the last weeks Kiri was only seldom outside, because it was mostly too cold and was too windy. Today she has stayed more than one hour outdoors. In the trees it is not to be seen, but with us snow still richly lies.

13th of February: I am asked over and over again how Kiri stands the cold in the snow. The video shows that it takes a shower even with the snow! Before I had got the camera, it has hung with the head down in the fir and can be sprinkled by the snow.

22nd of February: According to the weather report the end of the winter is predicted. There I have taken fast still par pictures with snow. The pictures with the crow are not very sharp, but these were more than 50 metres of distance.

11th of March: Kiri already enjoys the first buds. Finally, I have managed a nice picture once more where Kiri on me comes down flown. On the left in the picture, a magpie also flies at the same time.

20th of March: Already during the walk, it has struck us that we not only were accompanied by Kiri but she also had a crow in the towrope. Afterwards they have still dealt about half an hour with each other. Several years ago Kiri already once with a jay was friends.
